Easter

I love Easter.  This year, we had beautiful "springy" weather, perfect for  Easter.  Church was great.  Very uplifting!  After I taught my normal Sunday school class to the 16-18 year olds, I got to substitute teach in Phillip's primary class during the third hour.  It was so much fun.  Phillip kept coming up to me to sneak hugs and kisses.   I love this age.  After church, we got together with some other families for dinner.  Not only was the food delicious, but I didn't have to cook all of it, which made it even better.  Thank you, Tiltons, for hosting!

Thanks to Pinterest, we tried a new 'do' on Maddie.  French twist on the bottom, twisted hair rosettes on top.  Super cute:

Phillip & Soccer

This is Phillip's 3rd season playing soccer.  Last spring he was on a Pee Wee league.  In the fall he was on a co-ed team and got to play on a bigger field, and this spring he is on an all boy's team.  Not sure how that happened, because they compete against other co-ed teams, but he continues to love soccer.  The best part?  His team is RED this season.

Scavenger Hunt

A few weeks ago we participated in a family scavenger hunt with several other families from our church.  There was a list of things to do on a paper and we had to try to complete as many of them in two hours as we could.  We had to document everything with our cameras.  Then we all met at our friends, the Rodabough's house for dinner and to watch the slideshow of everyone's pictures.  So fun!  Here are the things we had to do:
Take a picture of all of us in front of our own house.
 Find a tree in bloom:
 Find a beater car:
Have one member of the family in a picture with someone mowing the lawn:
The whole family on a slide:
The youngest member of your family had to flex their muscles:
Someone in the family doing pull-ups:

All of the kids doing pushups:
 Pump gas for someone else:
Find someone eating at a restaurant:
 Find a memorial:
Each member of the family had to pull 50 weeds at the church:
Take our picture in front of the poster for the movie playing in theater 7 (Hunger Games).  If you're wondering what we're doing....we're acting out the movie and fighting to the death:
 Find the largest O'Fallon sign:
Do a crazy pose at the library:
Go the the frozen custard stand and order a small custard with the 4 strangest ingredient combination you could think of (ours was: gummy worms, mint, pretzels, and sprinkles):
